Post-Black Friday launches are pretty rare in the mobile industry, but they’re not entirely unheard of, and just like last year, it appears that Samsung is poised to launch its Galaxy A1x — in this case, the Galaxy A14 5G — after many people have already done their holiday shopping.
Unofficial renders of this model were published previously, and its prominent representation in regulatory databases and benchmark results, have started to flesh out its specs. Specifically, it’s said to be a 6.8-inch, full HD+ handset powered by an unannounced Exynos chip along with a 5,000mAh battery.
The nearly-flush triple camera setup on the back is reportedly headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, with a 13MP version doing the duty as a notch-embedded selfie cam. Situated near the bottom of Samsung’s most affordable line of phones, this one looks to be quite aggressively priced, including what is likely to be numerous ways to take it home for free.
