We now know that Samsung may hold its next Unpacked event in the last week of July, supporting earlier rumors that suggested some of the devices listed above could make an early debut. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, Galaxy Watch 6, and possibly new earbuds later this year.
This would be a substantial deviation from Samsung’s customary August schedule for its second major Unpacked presentation, but maybe not totally unexpected. It’s possible that Samsung doesn’t want to give the competition too much breathing room because the market for foldable smartphones is heating up and Google is getting ready to release its first foldable, the Pixel Fold. If this were the case, Samsung might lose some potential customers who might have bought a Galaxy Z Fold or Galaxy Z Flip smartphone.
Of course, it is just presumption, and if we’re being honest, the next Unpacked taking place in late July wouldn’t really be that early as it would only forward the schedule by about two weeks. Regarding the precise date, Samsung often releases new goods in the middle of the week, so any time between July 25 and July 27 is a good bet at this point.
