Exynos Modem 5300, the newest model, was just released by Samsung Semiconductor. Samsung has unveiled a new 5G modem that can support both mmWave and Sub-6GHz 5G, giving users the best of both worlds.

The recently unveiled Exynos Modem 5300 will provide lightning-fast download and upload rates of up to 10Gbps. Both freestanding (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G networks will be supported by the modem. Additionally, the modem supports FR1, FR2, and EN-DC technologies to provide the finest internet experience on your smartphone.

Although it should go without saying, the Exynos Modem 5300 also fully supports cross-generation network connection, enabling you to utilize 2G and all the way up to 5G as long as you have the compatible device and are in an area with connectivity options.

Samsung put a lot of effort into creating the Exynos Modem 5300 since, according to the manufacturer, it offers exceptional power efficiency. A 4nm EUV fabrication method is used to create the modem. The manufacturer states that by improving the power efficiency of the modem during production, the battery life of the phone using this modem should be increased.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not disclosed which smartphones or other gadgets will be equipped with the newest Exynos Modem 5300. It may be included with the Tensor G3 or Exynos 2300 but it is not yet official.
