If all goes as planned, this year’s new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 should become official in August. Theoretically, this means that the rumour mill can now get going. The first report that has surfaced concerns the impending Samsung foldable, and it makes sense as to why Samsung would take this kind of action.
Since it has a more conventional smartphone design than the Galaxy Z Fold, which has a futuristic design, the Galaxy Z Flip phones are always the more economical of the two smartphones. You get a standard-sized primary display for everything else and a tiny external display for your alerts. Yet according to a recent report, Samsung will increase the external display’s size so that it would be larger than the screen on the OPPO Find N2 Flip.
The report originates from the reputable source Ice Universe, who claims to have “clues” suggesting that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will feature a larger exterior display than the OPPO Find N2 Flip. For those who are curious, the new OPPO flipper has an outside display that is 3.26 inches wide. We are unsure of the new display’s exact size.
Yet, it is still too early to predict what the next generation of Samsung foldable phones will provide. The market will be even more crowded by the end of this year, so it will be interesting to watch how the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 compare.
