POSSIBLE FAR CRY 6 SPOILERS AHEAD

An alleged playtester at Ubisoft has spilt the beans over the first few missions of Far Cry 6, detailing

We’d urge you to take this information with a grain of salt as the source of this rumour is not any better than “Trust me, bro.” Then, on the other hand, playtesters are not allowed to have any electronic items such as a phone while they’re testing the game at the parent company’s test facility. Furthermore, all playtesters have to sign an NDA contract and if someone is found violating the NDA, they’d find themselves in huge legal trouble. So yes, screenshots from a playtester are out of the question.

Far Cry 6 is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth main installment of the Far Cry series for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The game will also debut on Amazon Luna, Amazon’s cloud streaming service that’s still in early access.

The game is set on Yara, a fictional Caribbean island ruled as a dictatorship by “El Presidente” Antón Castillo (portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian), who is raising his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) to follow in his rule. The player takes the role of guerilla fighter Dani Rojas, attempting to topple Castillo and his regime.

Going by Far Cry’s legacy, the rumoured beginning of the game seems quite plausible. As a wise man once said:

It wouldn’t be Far Cry Game unless you met the main villain in the first 10 minutes.

The villain is the main focus and start of any Far Cry game. In fact, all villains of the series appeared on the covers of their respective titles.

In the reveal trailer, we witnessed that Diego, unlike his father, is quite hesitant to kill people. This further adds to the reputability of the rumour.
