The first peek at the next hardware update for Sony’s current-generation system came via a fresh picture that may represent what is presently known as the PlayStation 5 Slim.

The picture demonstrates how the future console’s design won’t alter much from the present one, despite certain differences being instantly apparent, as reported on Twitter by Andrew Marmo and posted on the A9VG forums.

We have to take everything with a grain of salt since Sony has yet to even acknowledge the existence of the PlayStation 5 tiny, which is said to not be all that tiny, even if it is possible that such a hardware upgrade is on the way. It shouldn’t take long to determine if today’s image indeed depicts the new PS5 model as the new model is rumored to release before the end of the year. Stay tuned for the most recent updates because we’ll keep you informed as soon as fresh information becomes available.
