The last two of versions of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip and Fold series have not seen any notable improvements. The company’s 2021 and 2022 update only included incremental improvements. However, the Korean juggernaut has huge plans for the Flip 5, including a larger top screen that should make it much more functional, for 2023. The bigger exterior display of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is now visible for the first time in a fresh image.

Samsung is said to be increasing the exterior display on the Z Flip 5 to about 3 to 4 inches. (via SamMobile). The display’s height is estimated by a prior report to be around 3.4 inches. This will give much more room on the device for new features and usefulness. The Samsung folding flip’s exterior display, which could almost completely encircle its outer case and have a square aspect ratio, is depicted in the rendering below.

There is no information available about the primary folding display’s potential alterations. Again, nothing is certain at this point, but a waterdrop joint should make the gap less noticeable. More details about the upcoming Fold 5 and Flip 5 are sure to emerge in the coming days and weeks ahead of their formal releases in a few months.
