On May 23, the vivo brand iQOO will release its first tablet. According to the business, it will feature a 12.1″ screen and be powered by a Dimensity 9000+ SoC. We had made the assumption that it may be a vivo Pad2 with a different chipset, and we have now received further evidence to support this.
The iQOO Pad and vivo Pad2 appeared side by side in a live shot, showing off their similar designs and OriginOS 3 operating systems. Clearly, the tablet is compatible with the vivo cover keyboard and pen as well.
The tablet’s memory setup is also seen in the picture; it will have 512 GB of internal storage and 12 GB of RAM. The iQOO model is also unlikely to support memory expansion since the tablet with the vivo name does not have a microSD slot.
Large 10,000 mAh battery, 44W wired charging, and 5W reverse wired charging should all be included with the tablet. Other features include a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for video chats.
The vivo Pad2’s 12/512 GB variant, which retails for CNY3,399 (about $500), was released last month, but the iQOO Pad may seek to undercut it.
