It hasn’t been that long since we got to know there is a new game mode coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The folks over at Treyarch have been hard at work to pack a good amount of content for the next update. However, it seems there is even more coming than was rumored. A lot of info about the next update to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been leaked recently. The list is long, so we’ll try to go over it fast.
A huge Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War leak has revealed a lot of what Treyarch has been planning for Season 1. This leak came in the form of the game files of a Season 1 Start Pack that was datamined. Activision is currently working hard to cover up the mess. Thankfully, Twitter account @BlackOpsLeaks gave us a glimpse of the leaks in a now-deleted series of tweets.
New Maps, Operator, and Bundles For Black Ops Cold War Season 1
The datamined files show a lot of the new features, the biggest of which are the 4 new maps coming with the Battle Pass. The leaks contained a night-time “Christmas Nuketown” map, as well as a 2v2 gunfight map. Other than that, the leaks also featured new screens from the upcoming game mode, Dropkick.
Since it was a Battle Pass-centric leak, most of what we discovered was new skins, packs, and bundles. The skins revealed showed new bling for Portnova, Woods, and Sims. More interestingly, the screen for the Battle Pass was leaked showing a brand new Operator named Stich.
Hidden among the bundles and the packs, is an interesting (although totally expected) little crossover from Warzone. A “Warzone Combat Pack” is going to be released in the wave of updates that will hit with Season 1 being announced.
Finally, in the files leaked there was a little inconspicuous “s1_mp_raid_tu_cairo” hiding. Now, not to get you too excited or anything, but I see the word “raid” in there. Take that as you will.
However, there was nothing in the list of leaks about Zombies. It’s a little disappointing, considering what many have determined to be a lackluster single player experience. It is not too unexpected; after all, this is a battle pass leak for Season 1, and the updates promised are pretty typical of battle pass updates.
