We have great hopes for the new A17 Bionic chip since the iPhone 15 is about to be released. It seems that a user has given his expectations about the A17 Bionic’s performance in single- and multi-core situations, as well as about the benchmarks.

An anonymous leaker recently claimed that the A17 Bionic processor will include a 6-core CPU and 6-core GPU. Although the CPU cores are the identical, the additional GPU core on the A17 Bionic will result in a significant improvement in graphics performance.

Vadim Yuryev, a Twitter user and YouTuber, provided his opinions on what consumers might anticipate from the A17 Bionic chip’s Geekbench results. Yuryev claims that the iPhone 15 Pro’s 3nm A17 Bionic processor will have a single-core score of 2,890 and a multi-core score of 7,628. While the multi-core score shows about a 40% improvement in performance, the single-core score exhibits a 51% increase in performance. The 3nm design is responsible for the performance improvements if the statistics are comparable to those of the A17 Bionic processor.

The user also released the A17 Bionic’s GPU Metal scores, and the results show a 17 percent improvement in performance over the M1 processor. Apple Silicon is accelerating gradually. Be aware that these are only conjectures and that the firm could limit the chip’s performance.
