The spoils of the huge Capcom leak by Ragnar Locker continue to make their way on to the web. In our original report on the leak, we mentioned that one of the games that were currently being developed was a Resident Evil 4 Remake, with a projected release date of Q4 FY22. Today, we have our first look at the game in the form of leaked assets.

The images were originally leaked on the dark web, but it wasn’t long before someone posted them on Imgur for the general audience.

There are some eighty odd images that reveal the numerous assets that will be used in the upcoming remake of the game. Each image showcases the Front, Side, Prespective and the orginal concept for the asset. On the bottom left, you can see the file name that follows the traditional naming convention for Static Meshes or ‘SM’ for short. These static meshes are then placed in different levels of the game by the level designers to create an immersive world.

Fortunately for us, these particular leaks don’t contain any major spoilers for the game, totally overlooking the fact that the remake will essentiall follow the storyline as the orginal game, so there aren’t any major spoilers to leak. However, all games aren’t quite lucky. The recent leak also includes massive spoilers for Resident Evil 8, so stay vigilant around these parts.

It’s only a matter of time that more Capcom leaks make their way to the internet. The company was a victim to a data breach wherein criminal organization Ragnar Locker publically leaked Capcom’s encrypted data. So everything inside Capcom’s database is already in the hands of a third party with no good intentions. Capcom said that they were working with law enforcement in Japan and the United States but so far, that has led to nowhere.
