Samsung Unpacked Event Will be Held at February 1, Expected to Showcase Galaxy S23 Lineup

The Galaxy S23 series is expected to be announced at Samsung Unpacked, however it seems like Samsung Colombia may have gotten a head start on the reveal by publishing the Unpacked website early and confirming the Galaxy S23 launch date.

The Galaxy S23 was supposed to debut in late February, however the official Samsung Colombia website indicates that the event will take place on February 1. Although the teaser doesn’t reveal much, it does include the new camera design and images of leaves and lilacs in the corner that allude to the names of the previously released hues.

For the last several weeks, renderings of the Galaxy S23 series have been emerging online, and all three models have a lens in the S22 Ultra design. Yesterday, official-looking renders of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra leaked leaving nothing to the imagination, including the colors: Cotton Flower, Mistly Lilac, Botanic Green, and Phantom Black.

The entire list of Galaxy S23 specifications hasn’t yet been revealed. However, there have been reports suggesting that the 200MP camera sensor used by the Galaxy S23 Ultra. All of this is done to produce night photographs with additional detail. The 50MP primary camera on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus is said to sport an upgraded lens. All three models will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 across the board, possibly ending the existence of Exynos in Europe.

The introduction of the Galaxy S23 isn’t too far away with Galaxy Unlocked on February 1. We won’t have to wait too much longer to see what Samsung has in store.
