Spider-Man Remastered is one of the games that many fans were looking forward to. As an included title in the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, the Remaster just has a few new bells and whistles and a completely new Spider-Man, but if you have the platinum trophy on the PS4 version of game and the DLC’s, all those trophies will carry over, saving you a new play through.

Spider-Man Remastered Platinum trophy is unlocked instantly if you’ve done the legwork on PS4

Yesterday we reported about the new patch that lets users transfer their save from Spider-Man (2018) from the PS4 to Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5. Many fans were wondering if the two games would share the same trophy list, and that question has now been answered.

According to Brian from PS5trophies who has made a video proving it, but also shows how to do it, the Remaster is ready to give you a free instant platinum if you put in all the work on the PS4.

This also means that if you do transfer your save and have some trophies left over, you can continue from that very save file and get the rest of the trophies, playing a better version of the game and all its DLC’s in the process too.

Unfortunately you will need your PS4 to do this. It is not yet confirmed if using the local save file on a USB trick will work since it seems that the video shows the save file being uploaded to the PlayStation Plus Cloud Storage.

So if you already sold your PS4 or have passed it on to someone, no biggie. It’s still a great game to play from start to finish and definitely one of the more enjoyable platinum trophies that currently exists on the PlayStation 5 right now.

While many fans were hoping for the two games to have a separate trophy list, its still up to you if you wish to carry on this process as nothing here is automated. It’s all user choice in deciding if they want to start from scratch and enjoy a brand new game, or just to pop a quick platinum trophy.
